Hurricane Irene

Who knew we would get an earthquake and a Hurricane all in one week! It was crazy.  We were way over prepared, thankfully. We were really lucky and never lost power, so all really had to do was cleanup the yard when it was all over.

When we bought the house we knew the rain gutters were clogged, but we kept putting it off to clean them out. So Saturday morning Brandon cleaned them out in the rain so they would be clear when the hurricane showed up.

This is right around the corner from our street, it is amazing we never lost power!

 Clean up. We only did the front yard, we ended up with 2 black garbage bags full of leaves and a huge pile of sticks.

 After cleaning up we went for a walk. It is the boys new favorite thing. We live on a circle so we go round and round.
