NYC and Baby Blessing

All of our visitors have gone home now, and we are sad! It was so great to have my parents and my sisters here. When my parents and Tonia left this morning Brayden went up to his room and cried for 19 minutes. (I timed it) He has been so sad, when he came downstairs he asked Alex if he missed Grandma too. I felt so bad! I hope we can get out to Utah soon so we can see them again!

While everyone was here we went to a Railroad Museum(for some reason I don't have any pictures of this), NYC, and had Preston's baby blessing. It was such a great visit, but much too short!!!!

We are so grateful for the friends and family that came to the blessing, and we missed all the friends and family that couldn't be there with us!

What a weekend...

We were able to go to Amber's for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun. Amber and I had fun cooking our first Thanksgiving. We learned a lot, next year it will go much smoother.

We also helped pick their Christmas tree. Brayden and Alex thought it was awesome they got to help decorate it.
Then...the best part of the weekend... BYU VS. UTAH!!!

I just had to include this. The boys were playing upstairs and Brayden came and told me Alex was stuck. When I got upstairs this is what I found. It is a shoe rack, and he was really stuck. I burst out laughing, which made him cry harder. It was sooooo funny! I still laugh thinking about it!

It's Christmas time!!

I love Christmas time!!! When we got home from Boston we decided it was time to put up our Christmas tree.

We put the train up, I hate it because it falls over a lot and I have to keep fixing it, but it is nice that the boys sit still for a few minutes to watch it.

Just because...

I figured the Grandma's would want some new pictures soon. I can't believe how big Preston is getting! As for the big brothers...it is hard to keep up with their mood swings, but they love Preston, and Preston loves them. He is always looking for them as soon as he hears their voice. He has also started to smile, but I have yet to catch it on camera...someday.

Amber came down to play one last time before she started her job. As soon as she got here...I got the stomach flu. So the trip was a downer, but I was so grateful for the help! I can't imagine how I would have taken care of the boys. Brandon was also able to take 2 days off work after Amber left. I was amazed at how good he is at being Mr. Mom. I should make him do it more often!

Happy Halloween!

We have been up to a lot over the last two weeks, so here is the latest...

I found these fun Window Crayons, the boys had a blast coloring on the doors, and it kept them occupied for at least a half hour!

My mom went home after three weeks of visiting. Her visit went by way too fast! We are still missing her! We can't wait until she comes back with Grandpa in December!

Halloween was pretty low key, but the boys had a blast. We went trick or treating at Daddy's work, and had friends over to decorate pumpkins. It rained on Halloween so we only had one set of trick or treaters, which means I have way too much candy left over!

The day of the party at Brandon's work my mom and I tried for an hour to get Alex to put on his costume. He screamed and screamed because he said he was scared. Finally I gave up and just brought it with us. As soon as he saw his Daddy he put it on with no arguments. It was so frustrating! Also, I can't keep it off of him now. I had to beg him to take it off for church yesterday.

Preston was going to be a bear for Halloween but he grew out of the outfit before Halloween.
He had his 2 week check up to day and here are his stats...
9 lbs 14 oz -75%
21 in-75%
Head 25%
He is still fighting some jaundice, but other than that things are looking good.

Preston Hugo May

Preston Hugo May is here!!! He weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz, and 20 in. Everyone is doing well, and we are happy to be home!!

In the mean time....

No baby yet. I go to the Dr. today so hopefully she will give me good news!!!
